Moraine Park is very interested in the success of its graduates and tracks this success using several methods, including the annual Graduate Outcome Report and reviewing graduation rate data submitted to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
The College annually conducts a survey with graduates six months after they graduate to better understand their employment status and satisfaction with their Moraine Park education. The data from the survey is compiled into the Graduate Outcome Report, which is solely based on confidential surveys completed by Moraine Park graduates.
Moraine Park is required by the U.S. Department of Education to collect and report data to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) on the number of students entering the institution as full-time, first-time, degree- or certificate-seeking undergraduate students in a particular
year (cohort). Included in the collection are various demographic elements including race/ethnicity and gender, in addition to tracking the number completing their program within 150 percent of normal time to completion and the number that transfer to other institutions if transfer is part of the institution’s mission.
This rate below is calculated based on IPEDS requirement, and is approximately the total number of students completing within 150% of normal time divided by the total number of students in the cohort for the given year, minus any allowable exclusions. Recent figures can be found in the tables below.
