Manufacturing Skills Academies

Moraine Park is helping combat the skilled worker shortage by providing short term skill development in a variety of Manufacturing Skills Academies. A short-term training boot camp in General Production Assembly begins Spring 2015. The college is utilizing Wisconsin Fast Forward Blueprint for Prosperity Grant funds to provide specific training necessary to create job opportunities at collaborating area businesses.

General Production Assembly

This boot camp will prepare individuals for entry level positions in manufacturing, providing experience in the production of components by assembling parts and subassemblies, utilization of manufacturing tools, blueprint reading, general assembly principles, including hands on applications, and provide an understanding of general manufacturing practices. This tuition based program is open to anyone with an interest in manufacturing careers.

Our next information session is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. for our Spring General Production Assembly boot camp at the Fond du Lac Campus. Registration is required.
