Saturday, April 20, 2024, Moraine Park Technical College and Marian University will host a 2.2 mile Ruck March/Walk and free lunch to raise awareness of the alarming veteran suicide rate and to honor those who have lost their lives too soon.

The walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the B-1 parking lot. On-site registration will begin at 8:45 a.m. Pre-registration is helpful, but tickets are not required. Local mental health providers and veteran support organizations will have information available. A free lunch will follow the walk. A backpack is not required to participate. Individuals are encouraged to carry a photo of a service member who died due to suicide. The event is pet-friendly, and we ask you to kindly clean up after your pet.

This event is free and open to the public, although donations are appreciated. Proceeds help fund this and future events and assist local veterans organizations so they may continue their mission of serving veterans and raising awareness of veteran suicide.
