July 27, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
“Black Lives Matter was founded in 2013, after the death of Trayvon Martin and acquittal of the man who shot him. Three women founded the movement, that has gone global in the UK, Canada and U.S. The movement believes in all Black lives “mattering”. Queer, trans, disabled, undocumented, those with criminal records, women and those who identify anywhere on the gender spectrum. The movement seeks liberation for all Black lives and improvements for black lives.
