October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and MPTC wants to do our small part in bringing awareness to this dreadful issue facing many women AND men in America today!
We are excited to bring Marissa Cohen, a leading advocate for Domestic Violence to the WB campus, to help empower all survivors to release the trauma, build resilience and rebuild their lives so they can feel complete, happy and confident.
We have some great interactive activities to help empower students and to bring awareness to the common misconceptions surrounding Domestic Violence. There will also be several Domestic Violence advocates/services in attendance! See the poster for details on our day!
This event is sponsored by the West Bend Student Senate and the Counseling Department! The first 100 to engage in our Awareness Activities will receive a copy of Marissa’s award winning book : “The Healing from Emotional Abuse Philosophy”.
