Sessions

Mechanical Design

Jeff Quackenboss talking to another instructor in the manufacturing lab.

From designing products to preparation of models and drawings for all types of machines and manufacturing industries, mechanical designers assist engineers by developing designs for mechanical equipment using Computer Aided Design (CAD).

CNC/Tool and Die

People who studied CNC / Tool and Die Technologies build and run mold dies and stamping dies. They also perform advanced milling, drilling and lathe work.

Electromechanical Technology & Quality and Advanced Manufacturing

Electromechanical Technology graduates operate mechanical, electrical, and automated systems through motor control, fluid power, mechanical drives, robotics, and programmable logic controllers.

Quality and Advanced Manufacturing graduates use Smart Technologies and Automation to revolutionize processes and are trained in quality planning, data collection, data analysis, and the ability to integrate all of these functions.

Welding

Welders know how to interpret welding drawings, operate metal fabricating equipment, perform thermal cutting, produce gas metal arc welds (GMAW), produce gas tungsten arc welds (GTAW), produce shielded metal arc welds (SMAW), produce flux cored arc welds (FCAW) and demonstrate safety practices.
