Moraine Park Technical College held its final Tech Knowledge College (TKC) August 6-8, welcoming over 130 students to the Fond du Lac Campus. During camp, students participated in hands-on sessions highlighting careers such as healthcare, manufacturing, law enforcement, cosmetology, culinary arts, digital arts, automotive, and business. The event concluded with an open house where TKC families were welcomed to campus, allowing campers to showcase what they learned at Moraine Park.
For more than 20 years, the College has offered TKC to district students entering grades 6-8. While this format will no longer continue, Moraine Park has robust plans to remain engaged and connected. With K-12 efforts being an area of strategic priority, Moraine Park will create new programming that will enable students to connect with the College, obtain credentials, and develop their career and educational path while still in high school.
