This semester, Moraine Park celebrated the achievements of three Cosmetology apprentices as they completed their apprenticeship courses: Aaliyah Mitchell of Slinger, Autumn Strowig of West Bend and Sarah Schisel of Campbellsport. The students have worked to hone their skills, balancing hands-on learning with academic growth to prepare for successful careers in the beauty industry.

The students were celebrated at an apprenticeship recognition ceremony in December.

The Cosmetology Apprenticeship program spans two years and requires a minimum of 4,000 hours of training. Apprentices also participate in 288 hours of paid-related classroom instruction, attending 6 hours per week over three semesters. Upon completing the program, apprentices are eligible to take the state licensing exam to become certified practitioners.
