Moraine Park Technical College hosted the Horicon Regional Center open house on Monday, September 23– welcoming employees, students, alumni and community members to the new space.
The event featured in-depth tours of the center and fire tower and comments from President Baerwald, Horicon City Mayor Josh Maas and Beaver Dam Fire Chief, Lee Smith.
Attendees enjoyed music from the Horicon High School (HHS) marching band, fun interactions between the HHS Marshman mascot and Maximus, Moraine Park’s mascot, and delicious food and treats from local vendors.
Fire instruction in the new space is well underway and in the coming months the space will continue to evolve with new equipment.
