Moraine Park Technical College’s Phi Theta Kappa and Academic Honor Society Clubs collected essential items for homeless veterans, providing them with the care and respect they deserve.
The Clubs partnered with the WI Department of Veterans Affairs, the West Bend Health and Wellness Club, and community members to provide backpacks, first aid kits, sewing kits, ponchos, utensils, solar blankets, food items, and more!
With the help of club volunteers, the backpacks were filled and donations were brought to the Washington County Family Promise Center, Fond du Lac County Veterans Affairs Office and Dodge County Veterans Services Office.
